18 Tips 2 to Help You Maintain Balance

Death Stranding 2, Kojima’s 2020 surreal apocalyptic survival game’s death Stranding follow-up expands with the first game with meaningful quality of life upgrades and early access to more useful tools.

But Death Stranding 2 is a very unique game with many quirky elements, and gamers will need to wrap their heads around Australia for the next 50+ hours to spend the sequel setting. After spending around 20 hours in the game, here are 18 tips to remember before you start. There are lots of advice for games with lots of quirks.

Summary video in the main menu

Check out the summary video

From the main menu you can catch up with a summary video of what happened in the first game. Oddly, this video doesn’t actually ruin the majority of the story from the first game. Moreso, it draws a wide picture of the main quest that Sam went on and some of the characters he worked with. In fact, almost everything in the video is notified to the player in the first five hours of death.

Crouch changed the input

One of the most important actions Sam needs to take is squatting. There are a lot of stealth moments in the game, and this time we changed the button command. Instead of the DS1 circle button, you need to press R1 and squat down.

Play more aggressively from the start

One of my favorite aspects of the DS2 is that the first part isn’t as slow as the first game. In fact, you will have access to the guns and vehicles within the first few missions. This means you can travel much faster, carry more cargo, and don’t have to avoid/hide from the enemy. This time, please play more aggressively from Get Go.

Cutscene management

This is a Kojima game, meaning there are lots of cutscenes and it’s going to be very long. It’s important to know if you can pause it, not only fear accidental skips. Thankfully, pressing the menu button will pause the movie. Plus, there’s also a timeline that pauses and pops up, allowing you to measure how much time you’re watching, to show how much of the cutscene is left to play.

It is also worth noting that you can skip every time a QPID connection cutscene occurs. It appears dozens of times and no useful information is conveyed. Perhaps not looking at these things over and over will take an hour or two to total game time.

The automatic placement freight is located in the lower right corner of the freight management screen

Automatically place cargo

If there is one hint you remember from the list, create this. When you’re on the freight management screen, you can automatically place the triangle after loading the required inventory into SAM. There are also controller shortcuts. Lift the D-PAD, then right, then press the triangle. This allows the luggage to move only one place, such as his back, spread the appropriate cargo evenly. For example, a hand rena bullet moves into a small box on a hand renaissance pouch, a tool rack weapon, or even a shoulder harness. It makes it much easier to pilot Sam and greatly eases your trekking.

Hide in the tall grass

One of the reasons why you don’t want to have a backstack so high is that it makes you stand out more. This also applies when you lean back and hide in tall grass. Sam himself may be hidden from the vegetation, but if your cargo is protruding, the enemy can find you. Keep this in mind when you organize your gear and load things with a tall orientation.

The corpus has access to the pause menu.

Read the corpus of world lore

Death Stranding loves to throw away the most insane proper nouns and expects you to know and accept them. Fortunately, the game features an internal glossary called corpus that defines these terms and provides additional context. Also, while someone is talking about boundary nonsense about the rain, it can be raised while someone is talking about boundary nonsense about the rain that makes everything faster.

The vehicle’s battery will be displayed in the lower left corner when driving

Shawn Booker

Saves vehicle battery

You’re considering getting them very quickly, considering you drive a lot in two of deaths and probably get them more often than in the first game. The vehicle allows you to carry more cargo and cross the area faster. However, you need to pay attention to the amount of battery you have on your bike or car. This is especially important when pressing L3 to use fast boosted speeds. Boost runs out more batteries than usual, so if your destination is quite far away, slow down your drive or make sure you have access to the generator at some point (you can create it using PCC). Also, driving underwater consumes more power, so plan your route accordingly.

APA Extension Screen

Replace APA extensions

One new feature in DS2 is the APAS system that acts like a SAM skill tree. You will be able to unlock perks such as better balance and more accurate weapon aim. A great perk with this system is that you can exchange unlocked skills for free. That’s what you need to do. Each mission in the DS2 has many different types of obstacles and threats. You may be more focused on combat, but another person may set you up to cross a rocky mountain. Equip and equip skills that suit your playing style and have the skills that suit you best before you go out.

Do not emphasize the materials

Materials are used when manufacturing gears for new objects in the environment. With so many missions paid off, I realized I didn’t have to find the material out of my way. Unless you’re trying to pave ultra-long roads or loads of bridges or railroads, you’re probably going well with the default amount that the game rewards you.

Storage of materials

It is also worth noting that when you pick up materials in the world, they will not go to your total collection unless they deposit them. They are usually very heavy and do not benefit from being with your person, so get away from your back as soon as possible.

You can see how many materials you have and whether each item will be manufacturer or recycled

Shawn Booker

Recycle used equipment

Some equipment is used at once, such as blood bags. Once they’re empty they’ll sit in your inventory and take up space and weigh you without profits. Some crafting materials will also be returned, so be sure to recycle them.

Sleep to refill ammunition

The best way to refill your weapon’s ammunition is to sleep in a private quarters. This will automatically fill up your gun for free. It also charges all gear and vehicle batteries and restores stamina.

Let’s start the fight at night

Attacking enemy camps is easier at night as they can be more easily hidden in the dark. However, be aware of the suit you are wearing. Each suit has a different level of camouflage based on the environment. If you’re in the sand, for example, choose a yellow suit.

Use other players’ vehicles

One of the best features of Death Stranding is to interact with objects built and placed by other players. This ranges from ladders remaining beside steep cliffs to vehicles stored in various locations. Instead of using your own crafting materials, use one person someone else has donated online. The only drawback is that you cannot customize another person’s vehicle with unlocked weapons and accessories. If you want to do that, you will need to build it yourself or find others who have donated with those upgrades.

Always scan with Odradek scanner

Odradek is definitely the best tool SAM has when delivering. Its main use is to scan the terrain to identify which packages, materials, items and structures are nearby. If it’s too dark to see, it gives you a grid to let you know the terrain around you, and it shows how deep the water flow is, as you can avoid crossing the red spot and carry Sam away. Also, when you enter hostile territory, it indicates where the enemy patrols.

Pick up items while driving

Whether it’s a Trike or a Carrier, Sam can pick up packages, materials, items, and chiral crystals (the golden hand that comes up from the ground). You try to get many of these for a variety of reasons. When heading to the delivery location, you will also find other packages targeting the same location. The more packages you deliver to one location, the more stars will unlock schematics, music and equipment. Materials and chiral crystals are also great to pick up as they can be used to upgrade structures such as metals and chiral crystals, which are used to add another highway section when donated to the pavement.

When surrounded by BTS, just do it

Battles with BTS – the invisible deadly enemies that return from the first game – are not easy, but these fights can be avoided. It’s pretty obvious when you’re trying to deal with BTS, as the entire game pauses while Odradek is going crazy. You will soon see a floating ghost around you called a gather. If you get too close, tar pits are forming around you, trying to pull you down. When you fall, you will be forced to fight a huge BT that puts you in the effort of spending your time and resources, which can ruin the package you had with you, damage the equipment and lead to a huge explosion called a void-out that will destroy your car. A better option is to drive as fast as possible or boost the vehicle. Keep it away from the gurzer. If you’re in Tar, try to run.

With these 18 tips, it is very suitable for taking on the harsh environment of death.

Death Stranding 2 will be released on PlayStation 5 on June 26th.
