David Lynch’s first feature film makes you feel like you’re in a strange nightmare. The 90-minute black and white horror flick is packed with strange sounds and images, and the results are very creepy. Don’t let the main character start with the strange, otherworldly “baby” (is it strangely cute?). There is a message here about the relationship between men and parents, but even if you abandon the larger picture, Eraserhead’s surreal world is definitely worth visiting.
