9 Tips When Starting AVOWED, Action RPGs like Skyrim in Obsidian
Welcome to The Living Land, a mysterious and dangerous place where your emperor sent you to fight the growing plague of dreams. Action RPG like Skryim avowed I’ve excited me Previewed on Gamescom Last year, and now, I spent about 12 hours throughout the game, but here is a list of tips that will help you move your feet forward, from settings to tweaks to exploring advice, when starting the game There is.
Defeat the volume of the music
Reduces music level to 60%.
The music in this game is too loud, constantly fighting the character dialogue, everything sounds like a mess. Also, by default, the music level has already dropped to 80%, so the developers seem to even know about this, but even that level isn’t enough. Go to the audio settings and lower it even further – I found 60% to be a good place to enjoy music while listening to what everyone is saying.
Pay attention to the mini map
Avowed’s minimap is filled with a variety of icons pointing out collectibles, enemies and quest markers. It is also worth noting that as it helps you find some hidden territories and treasures that appear as you roam the world. For example, early in the game, I noticed enemy markers coming from the other side of the wall. A thorough examination found a switch that was difficult to open a hidden door. This led to a battle with a monster I noticed on the map and a treasure chest waiting for me behind it.
Explore anywhere for advice and XP
There are a lot outside of Avowed’s main quest line. Many NPCs will have a full conversation with the dialogue tree if you interact with them, and there are plenty of world lore to share. I have given me tips and advice on the area I was trying to explore, and I have found it useful from time to time as to what to expect from a encounter and how to do my best. There are also many side quests around the map. This tended to be more interesting than the main storyline. In fact, Avowed can even reward you with exploration by giving you experience points every time you find a new name location, so press on those frontiers.
Chat with your friends
A companion conversation will pop up on the left side of the screen.
They will start recruiting new companions in the game immediately, and their names and health will appear on the left side of the screen. There are also some that pop up on small icons with exclamation points. In other words, they want to have a specific conversation with you. Unfortunately, you cannot chat unless you are camping. This doesn’t unlock the game a bit after you’ve already met your companion. However, you can travel freely to camp and carry out these new dialogue options.
Unlock frame rate
(Settings) Unlock the frame rate in the menu.
I’m playing Avowed on the Xbox Series X. The first settings menu does not display typical prioritization frame rate/resolution options. These options are available, but you will need to change them after starting the game and monitoring the opening cutscene. However, a really interesting option is that Avowed allows you to unlock framerates, resulting in smoother images than usual. However, the game points out that this is just an option for TVs that supports 120Hz and have a variety of refresh rate support.
Adjusts the auto-saving frequency
Adjusting the autosave frequency.
In addition to being able to create multiple manual saves as needed, Avowed automatically saves games from time to time. You can navigate to your gameplay settings and adjust how often it will autosave. If you find yourself dying all the time, this is a good option to adjust for more frequent backup saves.
Switch to third camera
Choosing not to play something like Skarim in first person might seem blasphemy, but that’s actually how I wanted to do it. Gameplay settings allow you to switch camera positions to third parties to see the character. I found this to help me deal with combat encounters with multiple enemies trying to surround me and navigate the platform section.
Take advantage of the relaxation of camping
If you’re not in the middle of a battle or dungeon, travelling quickly to one of the campsites is the best way to heal yourself without using any items or resources. Simply distort it will replenish your health and essence meters. Better yet, when you leave camp, you have the option to exit the exit where the camp is or return to the exact point where you originally traveled quickly.
If the game says you need better gear, get it
A warning that shows how hard you will become if you equip a weapon with a lower layer.
Early in the main quest line you will get side missions that tell you to get high quality armor and weapons. Your companions will start calling your weak gear during battle to emphasize this. Unfortunately, and in one of the more frustrating parts of Avowed, the gear the game hopes you get is very expensive compared to where you are. However, I highly recommend following the advice of the quest and spending your money to upgrade. Besides dealing less damage and more damage from stronger enemies, the game actually nelfs your attacks and doesn’t use equipment in a higher/recommended layer, so you can use enemies at a fixed percentage I’ll buff it. Save the troublesome battles, crush your currency (or craft components) and get better gear as soon as you’re encouraged to do so.
A great but somewhat challenging way to make money right away is to take on the various prizes found in each town. These are quests that are usually found in groups on the job board. They can go out to fight strong and valuable enemies and get you some quick cash.
AVOWED will be released on Xbox and PC on February 18th.
