Zelensky demands stricter sanctions on Russia, Putin says he is trying to extend the war
When Russian and US officials prepared to talk about the 30-day ceasefire proposal, Ukrainian President Voldy Mie Zelensky denounced the Russian president Vladimir Putin I want to extend the war.

Putin thanked Trump for the principle of ceasefire, but he doesn’t say yes.
On Thursday, Putin agreed to the US plan for a “principles” 30-day ceasefire, but indicated that Russia would not sign the contract in its current form. As long as Russia is committed to the plan, Ukraine agreed to the plan after consultations with US officials in Saudi Arabia.

“It would be a very unfortunate moment for the world,” Trump said Thursday if Russia came to the table and refused to agree to a ceasefire. The president has vowed through his campaign to end the Russian-Ukraine war, saying that the war that began with Russia’s 2021 invasion of Ukraine in 2020 had not started.
