Postecoglou explains why Gray is “incredible” ahead of “large tasks”
Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou praises 19-year-old Archie Gray, saying Spurs “no one” is comparable to Striker Dominic Solanke on Squad. Premier League Sunday (1:30pm).

Archie Gray: Tottenham Genius “Incredible”
Summer Arrivals Gray has been pretty much present for Tottenham this season, playing in various positions in defense and midfield on their long injury absenteeism list.
The 19-year-old, signed from Leeds between £25 million and £30 million, began all nine of Tottenham’s previous Europa League matches in 2024/25, and later appeared as an alternative to Alkmaar.
“Archie plays an incredible number of roles and does a variety of jobs for us,” Postcogro said. “He has never mitigated the challenge of what he did.
“He started at centre-back (against Alkmaar) and it was midfield. People like Arch need to work for us.”
