Mellencamp, daughter of singer-songwriter John Mellencamp, published about her hospitalization and confessed that it was a time of vulnerability and upheaval in her life.

“It was all very patchy, my memory at this point,” she continued. “I remember being in such extreme, unbearable pain.”
Mellencamp and the judge explained how they were in New Orleans during her health crisis.
The judge praised her friend and said, “I don’t know how you pushed it through.”
When Mellencamp dealt with extreme pain, co-hosts shared a moment when they knew “something’s not right.”

“I could barely walk, I couldn’t see, we weren’t filming where we had to lie down in bed… I didn’t want to do anything. I was in extreme, in the unbearable pain in my head,” Mellencamp said.
She also shared that she had mildly spun the medication she was taking and requested that she be relocated to another medical facility.

“One day, all I remember was just throwing 85 times out of these stupid salt pills I hate, like I had to take two weeks after I got out of the ICU (intensive care unit),” Mellencamp explained.
“I begged my dad – “Dad, could you please let me go to the postcare centre… I’m not doing well here.

Mellencamp was eventually discharged from the hotel along with a full-time nurse, but healthcare workers revealed they had discovered tumors in their head and lungs.
Mellencamp concludes the podcast by saying that she is giving her “great” to heal during her recovery. She also “forever grateful” to the healthcare team for “miracles” during brain surgery.

Last week, the “Real Housewife of Beverly Hills” star posted a health update on social media after the doctor announced that she had detected additional tumors.
“Update from today’s scan: There are multiple tumors in the brain that could not be removed by surgery,” she posted on Instagram. “I have two tumors in my lungs, and these are all metastases from my melanoma.”
Mellencamp added that doctors “hopefully immunotherapy and radiation will treat them effectively.”

Her latest diagnosis comes during a long-standing battle with skin cancer. In September, Mellencamp shared that he had undergone surgery for the 16th melanoma removal.
