AOC, Sanders tells supporters to mask their town hall on the west coast

A post shared by conservative podcaster Stephen L. Miller about the Denver event on Friday wondered why masks would be advised for the 2025 outdoor event.
Sanders did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s investigation into mask guidance.

However, another response rebutted: “They don’t want paid participants to find.”
Reactions to the post are split, and many have unlling to the need for masks just five years after forced closures of the Covid-19 pandemic and social distancing.

Others speculated that masks were a way to protect attendees’ identity. Musks are a common practice to protect protesters’ identities in large-scale demonstrations, such as the pro-Palestinian protest at Columbia University last year.
However, Sanders’ “Olihead of the Battle” event is not a protest. Last weekend, events in Michigan and Wisconsin’s Blue Wall states acted like a traditional campaign rally, with thousands of supporters lined up and earning an inside location to listen to headline speakers.
Sanders announced the west coast legs of his “Fighting Olgarkie” tour with Ocasio-Cortez in a social media video on Friday. Progressive will stop in Nevada, Arizona and Colorado to “conference with towns with workers who are deeply tired of what’s going on in Washington, D.C.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) ended its travel mask mandate on April 18, 2022.
According to the CDC website, masks are “recommended in indoor public transport settings” and “people may choose to wear masks at any time.”
The website advises people who are centred on getting very ill and wearing a mask or “considering considering avoiding essential indoor activities in places that may be exposed in public places.”

The CDC claims that masking can reduce the spread of respiratory diseases, including Covid-19, but other studies have been around since the pandemic questioned the effectiveness of wearing a mask.
