Multiple co-hosts of “View” have expressed support for the permanents of comedian and former “View” host Rosie O’Donnell Move to Irelandsays it’s a fair response to Donald Trump being the president of the United States.
On Friday’s episode of the ABC Daytime Talk Show, Ana Navarro and Sunny Hostin defended O’Donnell’s decision, noting that America has become a difficult place to live for people like her.
Hostin says America “doesn’t seem to work for everyone,” suggesting that O’Donnell’s freedom is somehow threatened by the second Trump terminology.

The gay comedian added that she moved to the country on January 15th, five days before Trump took office.
“I was someone I didn’t expect to move to another country, and that’s what I decided was the best for myself and my 12-year-old,” she said.

Navarro said it was right to leave, considering the treatment O’Donnell has received from Trump over the years, and Trump is said to be re-instituted.
“But I know you’re Rosie O’Donnell, you hate him, and fairly, she hates him, it’s mutual and you know if you’re listening to him. You’re threatening him. Leave,” she said.
“It’s good for her,” Navarro added. “She’s been fighting for the rest of her life. She puts herself first. I’m very supportive.”

Just as we put them and love our European friends – but we put everyone else on this pedestal and act like America is very rear and broken. That’s not.”
Siding alongside Navarro, Hostin pushed back, “A rather young democracy that doesn’t seem to work out right now.”
“I believe in America more than Donald Trump’s ability to ruin it,” Griffin inserted.
Hostin said leaving the country is O’Donnell’s “privilege” and “as she doesn’t work for her family, she is one of the few people who can pick up her life and move her somewhere.”
“Most of us are stuck here,” the co-host added.
