Hearn says Ben (23-0, 14 Kos) is sparring bigger fighters in the camp and is ready to fight Euank Jr. (34-3, 25 Kos). He didn’t mention who Ben was sparring with. His fighting style is difficult to imitate, and anything else he had might help.

A rocky past

Hearn believes that Eubank Jr. is shaping his shape over the egg he did last February and that if he hit his eyes he injured Ben during the episode.

“Sometimes I feel like he’s crossed the line a bit, but he probably doesn’t give us ***,” Eddie Hearn said. Fighting Hub TV When asked if he liked Chris Eubank Jr., he said, “I’ve never said anything dimly about him. I actually respect him. I respect the way he follows in his father’s footsteps and actually participates in a tough life.”

Hearn pulled out the rug from under Eubank Jr’s negotiations with Gennadiy Golovkin in 2016 and used Kell Brook for the fight. If you were Eubank JR, you couldn’t have any positive feelings about Hearn after that episode. It must have been Chris’ battle. Obviously, Ben’s eggs from Eubank Jr. on February 25th angered Hearn, but it eventually worked well for the promoter, and became interested in places that were rare before.

“We’ve never actually ever had it. I didn’t hate him. He’s really not my tea. I’m probably not his tea. We both came from the boxing world where our father was very successful. His dad was a fighter.

Hahn shouldn’t be too worried about Eubank Jr. and whether he’ll ride. They probably leave one fight behind and look at each other in the Eubank Jr.-Benn Rematch. It was then over unless Chris Jr. could continue his career a little longer. Given the money he is trying to get from his two fights with Ben and the possibility of a clash with Canelo Alvarez in 2026, he will retire.

Accepting the shortcomings

“I wish him the best. I don’t think he’ll win on Saturday. Connor lightens the 10 pound lighter or stone in the ring, but we know that. It’s not surprising. Chris said Connor’s final fight was 154. He had a notification of about four weeks. That’s the reason. But we have no issues with weight. We don’t go, “Oh, that’s unfair. He’s bigger than us.” We know what it is.

“We know what we signed up for. He’s sparring a man much bigger than Chris Eubank in preparation for this fight, so he’s ready,” said Hahn of Ben.
