Dean Phillips slams democratic leadership for lying about Biden’s mental vision

“I was trying to spark a competitive primary, at least trying to force one televised debate to help Americans directly evaluate the president and other candidates,” Phillips said. “I simply wanted Americans to see close to what I saw and what the White House was trying to hide from them.
Phillips argued that efforts towards Primary Biden were met with harsh opposition from Democratic leaders, and the chief of minority leader Hake Jeffries informed him that he “will not talk to Biden or anyone else in the White House.”

The former lawmaker also claimed that it played a major role in preventing the media from appearing on the polls in 2024.
“Almost immediately, the party mechanism was activated and I became a Persona non-grata. MSNBC in particular portrayed people who were former Biden staff equipped with influence positions and essentially portrayed me and people who supported me,” claimed Phillips. “Payment and volunteer party activists took me to social media and attacked me and lost faith.”
The Democratic National Committee (DNC) said it was reportedly taking steps to prevent anyone not named Biden from joining the vote and force Phillips and his team to file multiple lawsuits.
“This is not a fight for democracy, but rather a cooperative battle with democracy, abolished by private companies that are not accountable to voters,” he argued.

Phillips continued by suggesting interesting questions. “If a relatively unknown House member like me knew that Biden could not lead the country in his second term, what would it say about the real party boss accomplice we all know?”

“To protect a president or an institution at the expense of that credibility is shortsighted and losing proposition. Democrat leaders and messengers must understand that sunlight is not our enemy, but rather the only way to gain public trust in our party,” he concluded.
