After nearly 20 years of famous journey, Gujarat’s trusted first class batter Priyank Panchal He has announced his retirement from top-class cricket. Known for his resilience and unwavering consistency, the 35-year-old made an announcement through heartfelt posts on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, putting an end to his career that left an indelible mark in the Indian domestic cricket landscape.

Priyank Panchal calls time after an amazing first-class career

A key figure in the victory of the Gujarat Ranji Trophy and longtime servant of the domestic game, Panchal will retire as the state’s second-highest rancolar in red ball cricket. His last first class came in the 2024-25 Langi Trophy season. There he won the second century, including a memorable 148 in the semi-final against Kerala.

It’s this unshakable motivation that has continued my journey so far. But the book isn’t wrapped… I promise that the next chapter will always be better.”
