Daniel dreamed of becoming a police officer, but entered the national spotlight when he was sworn by the president before the March 4th Congressional joint session.

Daniel surpassed his dream of setting a Guinness world record by being sworn by 1,000 law enforcement agencies across the country.

Most recently, Daniel was sworn in to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office in Texas.
“I saw Theodis pick up his son,” Williamson County Deputy Director Jeffrey Combs told Fox 7.

His recent federal agency oath came in April when fellow cancer survivor, Interior Secretary Doug Burgham, named him an American Park police officer.
