Eddie Hearn’s fast tracked Andy Cruz faces Miyanomiya i for an opportunity for IBF lightweight title shot

Andy Cruz will have the opportunity to lock himself up as a must for IBF lightweight champion Raymond Muratara if he wins the IBF title eliminator against Hironori Mishiro on Saturday, June 14th. Cruz (5-0, 2 Kos) faces Miscillo (17-1-1, 6 Kos) at Madison Square Garden Theatre in New York. The event will be displayed in Dazn.

Cruz: Better than the main event

Andy Cruz vs. Misilo is a 12th round chief support match between Richardson Hitchens and George Cambosos Jr. Some fans will argue that this should be the main event, as Cruz is a much better talent than the non-cro joys of Hitchens and former fading champion Cambosos.

Muratara (23-0, 17 Kos) has been promoted to full IBF champion status following Vasily Lomachenko’s retirement. Now he may have to deal with Andy Cruz as his essential opponent if the Cuban star wins against Miscillo on Saturday.

Muratara won’t let his IBF title open, but it might not work for him if he’s faced with Cruz. He could halt the title defense against Cruz as long as possible. The IBF gives Muratara nine to 12 months and protects him before Andy defends him before stripping him.

Salcido: Muratara Style Twin

In Cruz’s final battle, he defeated a fighter similar to Muratara, the big puncher Omar Salshid on January 25th, approaching pitching a shutout with a biased 10-round unanimous decision victory. Salshido was a pure copy of Muratara in terms of power and fighting style. He looked helpless against Cruz.

Hearn Fast Track Andicrus

After beating Keyshawn Davis in the 2020 Olympic gold medal, Cruz has been avoided since turning the pro. The way Cuban talent enrolled Keyshaun at the school in that fight became someone who rocked him in the pro ranks. Cruz was wise to sign with promoter Eddie Hearn. Eddie Hearn quickly followed him to get this IBF title eliminator after just five fights. Hearn believes Cruz is just “Couple Battle” Get away from the challenge of world titles.

It is doubtful why the IBF gave Misilo a #5 ranking with the organization. There is no one victory on Mishiro’s eight-year resume, opposed to top-class fighters. In 2023, Mishiro was defeated by a fighter named Min Ho Jun (19-5-2, 5 KOs).

Mishiro’s final six opponents

– Hinata Maruta
– Kazuaki Miyamoto
-Shuma nakazato
– Hiromasa Urakawa
– Yong Chao Shen
– My Hojon

It’s not very clear that Mishiro will face Cruz on Saturday night. Mishiro would lose him badly unless he showed the hidden talent that he had locked up his entire career.
