Marsh announces insurance facilities for data centre construction in Europe and the UK


Marsh, an insurance broker and risk advisor under Marsh McLennan, has launched Nimbus, an insurance facility aimed at building large data centres in the UK and Europe.

The facility is supported by a panel of Lloyd and Company Market in London and Europe.

It combines all risks of traditional construction, delays in starting up, property damage and business disruption coverage.

Nimbus offers up to 1 billion euros in all risk coverage for construction and up to 350 million euros due to delays in launch.

The launch coincides with a surge in data center construction projects in the region. Technology companies are competing to meet the growing demand for improved processing and storage capabilities.

The facility aims to provide clients with access to specialized coverage to enable more efficient management of data center construction projects.
