Raise $600 million in Bain Capital Private Equity to buy a baking platter


Bain Capital Private Equity is purchasing a franchisee platform for a US-based multi-brand restaurant.

Bain Capital affiliates will provide a $500 million safe memo to fund the acquisition from Capitalspring.

Bloomberg In April 2025, Bain Capital reported that it would purchase a $1 billion platter from its parent company Capital Spring, which includes debt.

Affiliate BCPE Flavor Debt Merger Sub and BCPE Flavor Issuers plan to use the net income from memo provision, along with funds from new senior secured credit facilities and equity contributions, to cover the acquisition financing, fees and expenses associated with existing obligations of the settle sizzling later.

The remaining funds will be allocated for general corporate purposes.

Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, Sizzling Platter operates 750 restaurants spanning eight brands: Dunkin, Cinnabon, Jumba, Jersey Mike, Little Caesar, Red Robin, Sizzler and Wingstop.

Little Caesar is the largest and has around 450 locations in the US and Mexico.

Bain Capital has a long-standing presence in the restaurant industry.
