Blake Monroe has received high praise from WWE legends

Blake Monroe made her WWE The NXT brand debuted earlier this month as the company continued its free agent signature rift and shook the pro wrestling landscape.

Monroe, formerly known as Mariah May, was a female champion in Stardom All Elite Wrestling After an epic feud with Tonystorm, her time was over.

Now she is aiming for NXT women’s champion Jacy Jayne and other deadly influential facts, hoping to add another admiration to her already impressive resume.

Pro Wrestling legend Baba Ray Dudley said in a recent interview that Monroe maximizes her potential in her previous role and that coming to WWE is the right move.

“Blake Monroe caught my eye and captured my intentions over the last few years for the work she was involved in another company,” he said. “She did an incredible job and made the most of her potential there. I don’t think Blake Monroe could get better where she was.

“I don’t know if I have enough heart to work with Blake Monroe and make her a sports celebrity. I didn’t use the term “using sports entertainer.”

Dudley expressed optimism that Monroe will become a “big star” WWE moves forward.

“So I think that Blake Monroe’s participation in NXT was a very wise move on her behalf. I’m working with Sean Michaels and working with this new talent that I believe is working with him and the talented and creative people of the producer,” he said. “Blake really shines in the system, and I think she’ll continue to be a big star in WWE.”

Monroe made a “contract sign” on NXT last Tuesday, telling the audience that “dreams” are always coming to WWE.

It is unclear when her first official match will take place, but Jane welcomed Monroe at the NXT moment when she put Monroe through the table.
