Democratic strategist Patty Solis Doyle lamented Thursday that Democrats remain unheard and that it is not a message to unite even in leaders.

She noted that, in addition to how Democrats are criticized, as is the case with every party after the devastating loss, she said another issue appears to be inherent in the Democrats’ plight.

“The other problem they have is that they don’t have a real leader,” Solis Doyle said. “If your party holds the White House, the party leader is the president. If your party does not hold the White House, the party leader is the last party president.

“And when you open, Mark, DNC chairs are not really the leader of the party,” she added. “So they’re supposed to continue the operation, they’re supposed to raise money, they’re supposed to make sure there’s something going on in America, but they’re not really the leaders of the party.”

This is part of a larger issue that Solis Doyle continues to show a lack of guidance to help parties unite.
