Six people died and two others were injured when a boat capsized in California Coast Guard Look for two additional individuals.
The U.S. Coast Guard said in a statement that six people died when they capsized near DL Bliss State Park on Lake Tahoe. Tahoe, California Saturday afternoon.
Two more people were injured and taken to a local hospital, according to the Coast Guard. This says the agency is looking for two more people.
The incident happened at 3pm Saturday after law enforcement urged the Coast Guard to send responding crews to the area after reports of 10 people underwater.

In a Facebook post, the Eldorado County Sheriff’s Office said it would resume search operations Sunday morning. The sheriff’s office said it would not disclose the identity of the individual who died in the incident until the family was notified.
The 27-foot gold crustal ship reportedly capsized due to a large swell.

The winds at the time were just over 34 mph with swells of 6 to 8 feet, according to the Coast Guard.
The condition of the two injured is unknown.
