Islamic nation It is believed to be behind the fatal suicide bombing that took place in the Greek Orthodox Church in Syria on Sunday.
At least 22 people have been killed and 63 people have been injured in an attack at Maríaes Church in Dvaiyur, on the outskirts of Damascus. It reportedly started while people were praying. The assailant first fired at the worshippers, then exploded himself.
While no group immediately argued responsibility for the attack, Syrian Home Affairs spokesman Nurededin Al Baba proposed that ISIS is likely to be the perpetrator following a preliminary investigation.
“The safety of places of worship is the red line,” Al Baba further said, denounced ISIS, and the rest of the former government of Baatist dictator Bashar al-Assad is the rest of his role as an actor. It will destabilize Syria.

The country’s Foreign Ministry repeatedly described the attack as “a desperate attempt to weaken the coexistence of the nation and destabilize the country.”

The attack sparked international condemnation. “These horrific co-ill behaviors have no place in the new tapestry of integrated tolerance and inclusion weaving in by Syrians,” wrote Turkish US ambassador, Tom Barrack, a special envoy of Syrians.
“The Syrian government continues to support its Syrian government in combating those seeking to create instability and fear in its country and the wider region,” the Post concluded.

The attack comes at a time when the infamous, unstable political unrest has risen middle east – Less than 24 hours after the US launched airstrikes at three top Iranian nuclear facilities.
