Air bombing at high-value nuclear sites after the US IranAmericans could be vulnerable to targeted cyberattacks and terrorist acts from only wolves, according to one expert.
Bill Daly is the original FBI Investigator Who thwarted terrorist attacks and dealt with foreign anti-intelligence. He told Fox News Digital that hard infrastructure, such as railroad lines and power plants, could be at risk, but cybersecurity should be a key focus.
“You are also looking at things like that when you can make a focused effort on cyberattacks, such as power plants, utilities, that type of infrastructure. “It can reduce electrical grids and other types of technology infrastructure,” Daly said.

He said that if Iranian state-sponsored terrorists are not just the only wolf terrorists, they are looking for an attack, they are at high risk of sophisticated cyberattacks.
“I think what has to do with the power grid might be something they can do — something they can do remotely without sending anyone here,” he said.

Daly said potential cyberattackers could overwhelm the internet infrastructure and turn off systems that are essential to Americans’ daily lives.

“My overall concern about what’s going on right now is the fact that we have, we know. Terrorist Watchlist … Since 2021-2024, almost hundreds of people have come across the border,” Daly told Fox News Digital.
“And on top of that, we’re probably estimating over a million people, who can’t explain who they’ve acquired, who they’re going to come across, who they’re going to find,” Daly said. “So Joe Biden’s Open Borders really gives us a reason to be careful and worry because we don’t know who these people are.
Recalling the attack on 9/11, Daly said that domestic terrorist cells could be waiting for the right moment to attack, taking instructions from the foreign government.

Similarly, he said that lonely wolf attackers who are not part of a particular group could be galvanized to attack randomly.
“Some people have positioned in advance here. They are sent directly through sponsors in some kind of state, or those who ask (it) when they come here will either continue to work with them or show their loyalty to Iran,” Daly said.
However, the FBI constantly monitors both cells and isolated wolves.
“There has certainly been a tremendous amount of intensive effort to fight terrorism since September 11th,” Daly said. “National Joint Terrorism Task Force. These are primarily driven by the FBI, with state, local and other federal agencies involved.
