Additionally, while employers should not provide legal advice themselves, employees can provide referrals to external resources such as local immigration lawyers, support groups, and emergency hotlines.
“I think we need to see all of the tools in our toolkit as an employer, and this will help people succeed,” says Nonnie Shivers, an employment lawyer and shareholder who is the shareholder.
