The bulletin states, “If Iranian leaders issue a religious ruling seeking retaliatory violence against their targets in their homeland, the possibility of violent extremists in their homeland would likely mobilize independently to violence in response to conflict.”

NBC News Iran reported last week that it sent a message to Trump at the G7 Summit that it could activate “sleeper cells” and carry out terrorist attacks in the US.
“We have to assume that there is a possibility of a threat,” Lora Reese, director of the Heritage Foundation’s Border Guards and Immigration Center, told Fox News Digital.
Leese said the government knows that 729 Iranian illegal immigrants have been released to the country under Biden, but the real concern is that “we don’t know” how many unknown “gotta” there is currently in the US.

Andrew Arthur, an immigration policy expert at the Center for Immigration Research, told Fox News Digital that the “ultimate soft target” for terrorist attacks will be hospitals, particularly hospitals in sanctuary jurisdictions. He pointed to Iran’s recent bombing of hospitals in Israel’s Bear Shebah, demonstrating that the regime was willing to carry out such an attack.
“That could be in the US,” Arthur said. “If you’re trying to think of a soft target that could have a catastrophic effect, it’s hospital. ”
To prevent such attacks, Arthur emphasized the importance of federal, state and local law enforcement all working together to monitor and respond proactively to threats.

“Fortunately, DNI (Director of National Intelligence) should know what potential targets they have in the future. DNI is not going to share it publicly, but it should flow through DHS to state and local law enforcement agencies,” he explained.
“The problem is, now we have all these state and local law enforcement agencies and sanctuary jurisdictions that don’t actually work with DHS,” he said. “It could create its own vulnerability.”
“It exacerbates the risk,” he continued. “especially In CaliforniaI think many law enforcement agencies in California are confused about what they can do with SB-54 (California Value Act), so it could potentially create their own vulnerabilities. ”
That being said, Arthur said Iran-sponsored terrorist attacks within the US would likely be a “suicidal move” and perhaps a “last hopeless move.” Still, Arthur said there remained “real concerns” about the Iran-sponsored terrorist attacks within the US borders.

On Monday evening, Trump wrote on social media: “It’s completely agreed between Israel and Iran and there’s a complete, complete ceasefire… 12 hours, at which point the war is considered!”
