The findings published at ASCO 2025 revealed that patients with CTDNA positive results after treatment and during surveillance are at a 24-fold and 37-fold risk of recurrence, respectively. The business also disclosed plans to introduce next-generation testing in 2026 using Broad Institute’s Maestro technology, which can track up to 5,000 patient-specific variations and identify CTDNA levels of less than a million.

OnCodeTect, created for the identification of molecular residual disease, improved prognosis predictions for standard care approaches for stage III colorectal cancer, as evidenced in both alpha and beta-corrected trials.

The revised version uses whole-genome sequencing, licensed only from the Broad Laboratory, to improve sensitivity and scalability. This is the largest MRD clinical study of Accurate Sciences Corporation (NASDAQ: EXAS) to date, with more than 400 patients enrolled and reflects the company’s ambition to strengthen precision tumors through CTDNA-based advancements.
