Man arrested in connection with bombing of the fertility centre dies in custody

Man indicted earlier this month Deadly car bombing Federal officials said outside a California fertility clinic, he was later declared dead when he was found unresponsive at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Los Angeles Tuesday morning.

Daniel Park, 32, was discovered to be unresponsive by staff at the administrative security facility around 7:30am on June 24, 2025.

According to a statement from the Federal Bureau of Prisons, employees immediately began life-saving measures and are called emergency medical services. Park was taken to a nearby hospital where he was later declared dead.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the former US S-Service have been notified. Authorities have confirmed that other prisoners and staff are not harmed and that the public is never in danger.

The charges stemming from his alleged role in the May 17 bombing outside the American Reproductive Center facility in Palm Springs have been holding at the facility since June 13 after being charged with malicious destruction of the facility. The attack killed a 25-year-old bomber. Guy Edward Burtsand injured four other people, authorities said.

Authorities allege that the park supported Berthos by supplying chemicals and explosives and conducting experiments in the suspect’s garage in the 29 palms. Court documents and US Attorney Bill Essaylie previously stated that Park used an AI chatbot to investigate the explosive device a few days before the attack.

The park was arrested earlier this month at JFK airport in New York After being deported From Poland where he traveled shortly after the bombing.

Authorities have not yet announced the cause of death at the park and say the incident is under review.
