Emery is ready to face “the best team in Europe”
Aston Villa manager Unai Emery said his side is ready to face “the Premier League and the best team in Europe” when leader Liverpool came to Villa Park on Wednesday night. I say it must be.
Villa fell six points late into the top four after drawing at Ipswich over the weekend, with Emery saying his return to the Champions League remains his goal.
New signatures Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio can both feature, and Emery struggles with problems with defense injuries.

Villa won only one of the last 14 Premier League matches against Liverpool despite a 7-2 victory at Villa Park in October 2020.
