Chevrolet Silverado truck was recalled due to the danger of a fire on the brake sensor

GM said the owner of the recalled Chevrolet Silvarado should park the pickup truck outside until the issue is fixed. According to the NHTSA, they should also continue to park away from the building.
The Detroit-based automaker has linked the issue to its suppliers using “illegal chemicals” to produce “rubber diaphragms” within the brake pressure sensor assembly.

The fix includes dealers replacing the brake pressure switch wire harness with one “silicon sealant” to prevent leaks, the recall report said. The owner of the vehicle does not have to pay for its services.
