Meta rebuilds AI units under “Superintelligence Labs”


Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is restructuring the company’s AI initiatives, focusing on building AI’s “Superintelligence.”

Going forward, all teams working on AI at Meta will fall under a new group called Meta Superintelligence Labs. Bloombergviewed internal memos sent on Monday.

Alexandr Wang, former CEO of Data Labeling Startup Scale AI, will lead the group as Chief AI executive. He will partner with former Github CEO Nat Friedman, who oversees Meta’s AI products and applied research on a per-Bloomberg basis.
