That makes no sense – Cristiano Ronaldo pays an emotional homage to Diogo Jota
Cristiano Ronaldo expressed his disbelief in the news that his Portuguese teammate, Diogo Jota, died in a car accident.
Liverpool was killed when the Lamborghini, who he was traveling, emerged from the road in Zamora, northwestern Spain, overnight.
Jota’s brother Andre Silva, who played for Penafiel in the Portuguese second division, was also killed.
Jota was 28 years old and his brother was 26 years old.
That makes no sense. We are still on the national team and are still married. I send my feelings to your family, your wife, and your children, and wish them all the strength of the world. I know you’re always with them. Rest in peace, Diogo and Andre. Let’s feel it… pic.twitter.com/h1qstvpoqs

Ronaldo has played with Jota multiple times for Portugal, and the pair were part of the team that won the Nations League last month.
The Al-Nassr striker wrote on X this morning:
“To your family, your wife, and your children, I send my pitiful dol and hope for them all the strength of the world. I know you will always be with them.
“Rest in peace, Diogo and Andre. We all miss you.”
