The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) in California has filed a class action lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) calling for an immediate halt of what it describes as an illegal immigration attack across the Los Angeles region targeting immigrants with “brown skin.”
Nonprofits accused immigration and customs enforcement agencies (ICE) of keeping immigrants inhumane state without beds and without food and lawyers being taken away from them after committing unconstitutional assaults. Homeland Security He denied all claims in the lawsuit, stating that the racial profiling charges were “disgusting, decisively false.”
ICE has conducted a sweeping raid since June 6th, arresting around 1,500 immigrants, including Latino Day workers, car wash workers, farm workers and vendors.

“The attacks in this district follow a common systematic pattern. Individuals with brown skin were suddenly created by unidentified federal agents and to answer questions about who they were and where they came from,” the lawsuit reads.
“If they hesitate, try to leave, or do not answer questions due to the satisfaction of the agent, they are detained, sometimes tackled, handcuffed, and detained. In these interactions, agents usually have prior information about the individual and have no kind.”
The lawsuit accuses the federal government of keeping detainees in overcrowded housing complexes known as “B-18s,” and is extremely convulsive in a windowless room.
“In facilities like these dungeons, the situation is deplorable and unconstitutional,” the lawsuit reads.

Not only does it try to stop the attack, it also requires that the lawsuit refrain from using the B-18 centre, as it should be a short-term ice processing site and is legally liable for systematic racial profiling and due-process violations.
Defendants include Homeland Security Secretary Christie Noem, Ice Director Todd Lyons, Attorney General Pam Bondy, and several local Ice, CBP, and FBI officials operating in Los Angeles.
The lawsuit was filed by a coalition of individual immigrants; Advocacy for immigrants An organization led by ACLU and non-commercial public advisors and other legal partners.

“I hate and decisively wrong with the claim that an individual is being ‘targeted’ by law enforcement because of his skin color,” she said. Fox 11 Through a statement Wednesday, he added that the lawsuit’s allegations were “garbage.”
She also denied allegations regarding the poor condition of the ice facility.
“The claim that there are subprime conditions for ice detention centres is wrong,” McLaughlin said. “In fact, ICE has higher detention standards than most US prisons that house actual US citizens. All detainees are provided with appropriate diet, treatment and have the opportunity to communicate with lawyers and their families.”
