PBS and NPR face reductions as Trump’s CBS settlement highlights media bias

newYou can listen to Fox’s news articles!

For the first time, after decades of attempts, Republicans appear on the verge of their appearance PBS and NPR refunds On the wild leftist bias in their news coverage, and, surprisingly, rather than a promising change, the progressive elite in charge is doubleping Trump’s crazy.

Everything is happening to Congress to cut back on President Donald Trump’s withdrawal bill and their left-handed slash fund.

The White House urges Congress to cut federal funds for NPR, PBS

On Wednesday, PBS Newshour aired a segment on Trump’s victory Litigation against CBS Newssettled on $16 million, a deceptive compilation by “60 minutes” of an interview with Kamala Harris during the 2024 campaign.

To address this issue, they brought in Brian Stelter from CNN. Yes, with a straight face, he parroted the stupid White House Line, which was thrilled as President Biden was upbeat and a victim of the right-wing video “cheap fakes.”

You remember about eight minutes before Grandpa Joe collapsed during the argument stage.

You wouldn’t be surprised to find out that Stellter, carrying left wing water, told a Newshoul, which carried left wing water, that “CBS actually had nothing wrong with it.”

At this point, amidst a failed journalistic ethics that will make Pravda blush, perhaps straight news anchor Amna Nawaz did not piece together Stelter’s amazing lies. In fact, Stelter’s surprisingly subjective and clearly biased opinions were simply treated as fact.

So, what really happened? We all saw it. One morning during the campaign, “60 Minutes” released a clip of Harris’ interview. She answered questions about Israel with a familiar, nonsense statement that made Joe Biden eloquent.

But behold, when the episode aired, there was no more answer we had already seen.

Harris 60 minutes

In the original clip, when host Bill Whitaker asks why Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hasn’t heard of Biden, Harris said:

“Well, Bill… the work we did has brought about a lot of movement in the area by Israel. Israel was very urged by a lot of things, including our advocacy about what needs to happen in this area.”

And here is the answer that was finally aired in the program:

“We are not going to stop pursuing what is needed to make the United States clear about where the need for this war to end.”

In a fair and honest journalism universe, this blatant cleanup in this blatant Harris cannot be seen as anything other than CBS News, trying to make the Democratic candidate look better. It’s not a standard practice, it’s a lie.

PBS Newshour and Stelter dared to roll the actual tapes or dare their weak claims that CBS News parent company Paramount is blissing Trump for getting approval for the merger and collapses faster than CNN’s ratings.

And this is not a new issue with public broadcasts. It was in April last year for many years NPR Editor Uri Berliner If spoken softly, I wrote a difficult pillar about outlet bias.

But did you see any changes? Have you seen executives running PBS and NPR take action to present a fair news product? Obviously not that. As Stelter’s interview shows, these outlets are as bad as ever.

With Republicans resigned to the fact that they would cut direct federal funds, it appears that PBS and NPR have decided to put everything into their basic cravings anti-Trump sentiment. Maybe they can move some extra tote bags and umbrellas.

Given the complete lack of regret shown by the PBS and NPR, self-respecting Republicans should not vote to give them a dime, even if evidence of their rank bias is stacked up like garbage during a garbage attack.

PBS and NPR have been given decades and decades to clean up their actions of providing fair news in the service of the public rather than the service of the Democratic Party, and to meet their responsibilities.

Time is up. Public broadcasts may be in the propaganda sector on the left or may be funded by taxpayers. You can’t be both anymore.

After all, with the passage of Trump’s one big beautiful bill, millions of public broadcasters who love to donate substantial taxes to PBS and NPR, but the rest of us can opt out of funding fake news.

I call it a win-win.
