Standard Aero selected by Salamair for LEAP-1A Engine MRO support
StandardAero Inc. (NYSE:Saro) is one of Buy Now Best New Stocks. On June 16th, Standardaero announced its choice by Omani’s low-cost carrier Salamair. StandardAero provides maintenance, repair, and overhaul/Mro support for the CFM International Leap-1A Turbofan engine that powers a fleet of Salamair’s Airbus A320neo family-level aircraft.
StandardAero supports the next generation of CFM International Leap-1A and LEAP-1B engine families from its 810,000-square-foot facility in San Antonio, Texas. The company is the CFM Leap Premier MRO provider that signed the first non-air conditioning CFM brand service agreement/CBSA in March 2023 for LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B.
Airbus Single Isle Aircraft will overfly major cities and showcase the company’s airline services.
The partnership expands StandardAero’s expanding list of operators that rely on MRO services across North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, South Asia and Asia-Pacific regions. Additionally, StandardAero is industrializing over 300 new engine component repairs in the Leap family through excellence in the network of CRS team locations and the repair development center. Salamair currently operates a fleet of 13 Airbus A320/321 aircraft, running more than 80 flights daily.
