Man’s rumours about having to do something special For shopping His girlfriend split hundreds of social media users, sparking debate over the expectations of the relationship.
In a post on a Reddit page with over 24 million members, the man noticed that he worked 12 hours a day while working between four and eight hours.
“At least once a week, she stops at the store on her way home and asks her to randomize something like kombucha (just drink her only) or beer. Diet Cola Or snacks,” said Reddit user.
After an unpleasant conflict, the worker’s unusual lunch spot is the backfire: “Was I rude?”
“Usually she does grocery shopping that day and says she has forgotten the items.”
But her demand for fermented tea drinks and other specific options put him in pressure, he said.
He said it was a move that made him a “bad guy.”

“When I thought I would go in front of her and only rest for a few hours at the end of the day and go home, I finally started to say no to her.
The post painted a wave of mixed reactions, with many commenters criticising his stance against men.
“You’re already out and probably driving past the store,” one observes. “Stop by the Dern store, it’s not a competition. It’s just a contribution. This is a very immature attitude. ”

Others supported the boyfriend’s perspective, arguing that it was reasonable for him to deny the demand.

“I worked (12 hours) shifts in the past for years, and back then I was a zombie,” one said. “I couldn’t get the sleep I needed. I wasn’t going to go to the store unless it was absolutely necessary.”
Another said, “Don’t listen to these paranoid people who don’t know what their real work is.”

Others were more neutral on this topic – suggesting that the problem can be solved Better communication.
“Tell me that, and you can probably find a solution,” one advised.
“It’s no wonder she doubts his love when he measures things in this cold and fast way.”
“Converse with her first,” another said. “It’s fine once or twice a month, but once or twice a week is fine.”

Carol Lieberman, a psychiatrist based in Beverly Hills, California, shared her thoughts with Fox News Digital on issues of relationships.
Lieberman said that his boyfriend’s complaints appear to be valid on the surface, but he “missed the point.”
