In an interview with Logan, Taralico admitted that Democrats have it. I was confused from that stance“I don’t know how loyal our party is yet to it, but I know it’s our historical heritage. It’s a party fighting for a little guy. And when we do it today, I think we’re the best.

Wallace asked what Swalwell thought about the exchange between Logan and Tallarico.

Swalwell slammed Republicans.

“I thought I was a Democrat because Republicans fight for the rich and Democrats to fight for the rest,” Swalwell said. “But the bigger point here, and you asked just before we went to the commercial, how to contact more voters about this message of why they should have the Epstein Files, what the council members are doing is that he gets into more space and places.”

“I made the decision after the last election when I saw that 68% of voters somehow identified Christians as Christians that they needed to do a Christian podcast,” Swalwell said. “And I do it about once or twice a month. I grew up as a Christian. I went to Christian College on a soccer scholarship, but I don’t talk about my faith because I thought it really wasn’t in politics.

In the same interview between Logan and Taralico, which Swalwell praised, Taralico denounced “religious rights” and said he thought it was not important Christians are in favor of abduction.

“When everyone says that when Jesus doesn’t talk about it, something is the center of my faith, whether it’s a televangelist or a politician, I’m suspicious,” Taralico said.

“For me, I think it should ring the alarm bell about what the agenda is here and what someone is trying to do,” he added. “And if you’re looking at the last 40 or 50 years, I think religious rights worked together to make homosexuality and abortion the two biggest issues for Christians. And the Southern Baptist Treaty was a choice until the late 1970s.
