Want to improve the quality of your iPhone’s call? Try this hidden feature
Apple has released its first public beta iOS 26 On July 24th, we brought call screening and other things to the developers and beta testers’ iPhones. But you don’t need to be a developer or beta tester to use hidden things iPhone A feature that allows you to make your call more clear for the other person. This feature is called voice separation.
Apple introduced voice separation in 2023 iOS 16.4. Tech companies have added features to FaceTime calls along with a wide spectrum iOS 15 In 2021, voice separation is currently available for regular phone calls.
When voice separation is enabled, it muffles distracting background noise that interrupts calls. That way, if you’re making a business call or catching up with a friend, you won’t be interrupted by barking or building your dog outside your home.
To enable voice separation, you must answer an active phone because the feature is not in the settings. Once active, Voice Isolation remains for all future calls unless you manually turn it off.
Here’s how to activate and disable voice separation on your phone: You can also check out Everything you need to know about iOS 18 Before iOS 26 release.

What is a broad spectrum?
Next to the phone control voice separation, a wide spectrum is also found. Unlike speech separation (muffling background sounds), a wide spectrum amplifies background sounds without affecting the voice.
Wide spectrum is useful for calls with multiple people on a single telephone line. This way, not just anyone who has the phone, but everyone can listen.
Wide spectrum is currently available FaceTime Calls. This feature still exists in phone controls, so it may be available on phones in the future.
