“You’re not the first outlet to expect people to do this,” an anonymous supporter said in a phone interview. “That’s exactly why I wanted to talk to you.”

When identified solely as the relevant citizen and the “curiosity reader,” the man argues that it has nothing to do with the interests of a political organization, nonprofit organization, or business. “There’s no organization, no parties, just me and the people who care,” he said.

He explained that the sculpture is “some protests, some performance art” and is intended to draw attention to recent layoffs and budget cuts across the National Park Service.

“But you feel about the Doge cut, and we use that tongue of words, but the reality is that the thousands of people who love these parks and work to protect them have been let go or affected.

The park was an intentional choice. “National parks are one of the few truly nonpartisan joys we have in this country,” he said. “Democrats, Republicans, Independences – everyone loves the outdoors.”

He chose Mount Rainier for his installation this weekend, he said.

“It’s incredibly packed. One lane is in one lane. The parking lot is overflowing. You can’t park, literally, to see the most popular places,” he said. “It just felt…poetic.”

The responses of park visitors were extensive. Some took the photos, some made rude gestures, while many simply stared at them.

“People were busy around it, they took photos, laughed, turned them over, they gave thumbs,” he said. “It did the gamut. It’s a good cross-section of America.”

The sculptures discovered online by the Michigan-based artist are designed to look realistic and are exaggerated to the point of being memetic.

“We looked for people who could take photos on a large scale but still work on a budget,” he said. “We really wanted a smirk. That very satisfying look.”

When it comes to signing, “Make America Wait Again” was no coincidence. Supporters have admitted that nods to a particular president’s famous slogan are intentional, but it is not intended to target specific political aspects. “It’s meant to trigger a conversation,” he said.

“Everyone has an opinion about Elon Musk, but I wanted this to cut across political boundaries.”

When asked why he insisted on staying anonymous, supporters did not dodge the question. “There’s something fun about the mystery,” he said. “It doesn’t matter who I am. It’s about what this statue represents.”

Mystery creators acknowledge the risks of such public displays, but they believe the message is important.

“Major things happen in our country, they’re real and they hurt things. The news cycle spins so fast, we forget them,” he said. “This is a loud, stupid way to not forget.”

When he was asked what he would say directly to the mask, he didn’t hesitate: “I’m sticking to building a carand don’t ruin the government. ”

Supporters say it unites Americans in an era when national parks themselves are divided. “It’s like general knowledge that being a park ranger is something you do for love, not for money,” he said. “So when they were fired or thinned, it hurt what we all shared.”

When imposed on his own political tendencies, he said:

But why bring the project to Fox News Digital? “Because I don’t think you’re the first audience that people think about covering this, and I think it’s great,” he said. “It excites me, because we are all Americans and we all have different opinions and different things that we enjoy. The funny and the strange and the strange and the beautiful.”

As for what comes next, the head goes to more parks, but where and when it remains a mystery. “I can’t tell you, but I’m happy to continue talking to you in the right moment.”
