Florida School Board Chair apologises for celebrating Hulk Hogan’s death on FB

Florida County Board of Education Chairman Sarah Rockwell apologized for Facebook comments celebrating the legendary wrestler The death of Hulk Hogan Thursday, as the “one fewer magazine” of the world.

“Oh, did Hulk die? I didn’t know. Good. One Magazine in the world,” Rockwell’s comment read.

In a follow-up comment, Rockwell said, “(h)e worked with McMahon to collaborate with Union Bust Pro Wrestling.

After her comments went viral on social media, Rockwell deleted them on her official school board Facebook account and apologized.

“A few days ago, I made a cruel and light-hearted comment from my personal Facebook account about a friend’s post about Hulk Hogan’s death,” she wrote on Saturday. “I deeply regret making that comment and deleting it. I want to be very clear that I don’t want to harm anyone, whether I share my political views or not.

Rockwell said, “I sincerely apologize for the erosion of comments on my ability to represent all students, families and staff in Alachua County. I want to ensure that the greatest benefits of children and public schools are at the heart of everything I do. Comments.

Fox News Digital We contacted Rockwell and Alachua County Public Schools for comment.

Hogan, whose real name is Terry Borea, passed away at the age of 71 after suffering cardiac arrest at his home in Clearwater, Florida. He is a six-time WWE champion, won the Royal Rumble twice, and was personally inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005 and led to him as a member of the NWO in 2020. He was also the six-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion and the IWGP Champion in New Japan’s Pro Wrestling.

At last year’s Republican National Convention, Hogan supported President Donald Trump For another term by ripping his shirt to expose the sleeveless “Trump Vance makes America great again” shirt.
