Miami Beach Boat Accident Near Star Island Driving Children to Hospital

Six people were pulled out of the water near Star Island in Miami Beach after the barge hit the yacht, authorities said.

The two-vein incident was Monday morning with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Committee (FWC). Miami Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) confirmed by Fox News Digital.

“All six victims, an adult woman and five boys were recovered from the water. Local hospital For treatment, a FWC spokesperson said in a statement.

Three children were taken to the hospital in danger. Local WSVN Reported, one was collected in stable condition. Police told the television station that the children were between the ages of 8 and 12.

MDFR said calls for a submerged vessel with missing residents came into the 11:14am.

“The divers were deployed to search for missing residents. Thanks to prompt rescue responses from all agencies, everyone has been removed from the water,” an MDFR spokesman said in a statement.
