WWE Star recalls the impact of Hulk Hogan’s pro wrestling

Hulk Hogan Death sent shockwaves into the world of professional wrestling last week.

The 71-year-old died after being transported to hospital after potential cardiac arrest at his Florida home. Hogan’s legacy was remembered throughout the weekend as WWE paid tribute to him with a video montage and 10 bell salute “Smackdown on Friday night.”

WWE Women’s World Champion Naomi has been heavily at Hogan’s death in a recent interview with Fox News Digital.

“It’s very unhappy and very sad,” she said. “I think death is always difficult to handle. As a performer, the Hulk has made such a profound impact on this business and has opened up so many opportunities to do what we’re doing now to do a show like this weekend.

“My heart is directed towards his family for their mourning and sorrow. May he rest in peace.”

Naomi, a Trinity Fatu, became a three-time champion when he cashed in a bank contract during a match between Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley’s Evolution. She kept the sky in one of the top matches of the year.

Now, Naomi enters a triple threat match at Summer Slam to defend the championship. She squares against Ripley and Sky.
