Arkansas salon surveillance shows arrest of a suspected demon murder

Surveillance video from the Arkansas Salon captured the moment Andrew James McGann was arrested. Devil’s Den State Park Double murder.
The footage, obtained by Fox News, features 28-year-old McGann in a light blue polo shirt and khaki pants at Lupita’s Beauty Salon & Barber Shop.
McGann was in the middle of his hair when an Arkansas State Police (ASP) officer entered the store and quickly put McGan in handcuffs, removing the black and white haircut cape in the process.
The double murder suspect showed that he did not resist the arrest, as nearby patrons and employees had seen in silence.

The ASP arrested McGann at 4:57pm on Wednesday. He was charged with two counts Capital murder He was found dead on a walking trail in the Devil’s den in connection with the murder of 43-year-old Clinton David Brink and the murder of 41-year-old Christan Amanda Brink.
Their daughters, ages 7 and 9, have not been injured and are being cared for by their families, authorities said.
ASP Director Colonel Mike Hagar announced at a press conference Thursday that both Clinton and Kristan Brink had died of stab wounds. The knife was confirmed as a murder weapon. He also revealed that investigators had discovered there were no signs that their daughter was targeted.
“It looks like a completely random event,” Hagar said. “There is no reason to believe there is a known connection between the suspect and the victim.”
Hagar pointed out that McGann was “injured” during the attack. The blood found at the scene helped authorities find the suspect, they said.
Hagar said McGann confessed the crime and DNA evidence confirmed his involvement.
“Everyone is innocent until proven guilty, but this morning we confirmed that the suspect’s DNA is a positive agreement with the DNA he recovered at the crime scene,” Hagar said. “In an interview with investigators, the suspect admitted to committing the murder. We also executed a search warrant at his residence and retrieved items that matched the crime.”

Who is the suspect?
Authorities confirmed that the suspect has no known adult criminal history.y. Investigators have not disclosed any previous charges or convictions.
McGann was a teacher in a small school district in Oklahoma until May, and later resigned to work in another state, according to a statement from Sand Springs Public Schools. They said McGann passed all the background checks.

The mother of a former student provided an email to Fox News from the teacher’s previous school district. She said her son filed a complaint with the director in 2023 after witnessing McGann acting inappropriately against a young female student.
In response, parents received a letter from the district saying that McGann was placed on administrative leave but staff investigated poor complaints of classroom management and professional judgment.
The study found no evidence of inappropriate behavior towards students, but concluded that McGann’s classroom management and judgment fell below district expectations. Shortly afterwards, McGann resigned.
“On Wednesday afternoon, McGann informed HR that he had made an immediate enforcement of his decision to step down from his position,” the email said in part. “We’ll have alternative teachers in his class for the rest of the school year.”

Who is the victim?
After a recent relocation from South Dakota to Arkansas, the Brink family spent Saturday, July 26th, exploring Devil’s Den State Park in the Ozark Mountains with their two young daughters.
The ASP discovered the bodies of Kristan and Clinton along a remote hiking trail at around 2:40pm on Sunday. I was physically unharmed But he is suffering emotionally, authorities said.
Authorities revealed Thursday that they believe Clinton Brink was the first to be attacked. Kristan Brink then safely distanced her two daughters from the scene, but later returned to help her husband.
“We believe that mothers have taken them safely and then returned to help their husbands,” Rhodes said.
The cause of death of Christan and Clinton Brink has been determined.

Major Stacey Rhodes said McGann had confessed to the Double Maldos.
“He issued a statement indicating that he had committed these heinous acts,” Rhodes said Thursday. “We then ran a search warrant in both his residence and his vehicle. We are still waiting for the outcome of the crime lab, but the DNA recovered in the first scene has already been confirmed as a match with the suspect.”
Officials said the investigation has generated more than 500 hints and is continuing. Authorities have not released details from the scene. Investigators believe McGann will be acting alone and no additional suspects are being sought at this time.
