Get closer to Wrexham Sign Connor Cody and Kiefer Moore

Wrexham signed Leicester City defender Connor Cody after reaching a relocation fee agreement believed to be in the £2 million area.

The 32-year-old centre-back completed medical care Friday morning before the move.

The switch is considered another statement of intent from Welksam ahead of his return to the championship. This is the first season in the Division of 43 years.

This summer has already been busy for the club. The club broke his transfer record twice. Initially he signed Rivert Kakarce from Empori, and signed again with the capture of Nottingham Forest Midfielder Louis O’Brien.

Wrexham was able to destroy that record once again with talks underway over the ambitious £7.5 million bid for Ipswich Town Forward Nathan Broadhead.

The club is also looking to add another Welsh International Kiefer Moore from Sheffield United.

Coady brings the top flight pedigree that appears in his name to the 198 Premier League. Many of them will appear as wolves captains during the period when they finish twice and complete the quarterfinals of the Europa League.

The experienced defender also represented England 10 times and was part of Gareth Southgate’s team in both the Euro 2020 and the 2022 World Cup.

He remains on his contract with Leicester for a year.
