The Department of Justice responded to the order in a statement to Fox News.
“As the Supreme Court recognizes it correctly, it is the exclusive privilege of the President to carry out diplomacy,” the statement said. “By directly noting the respect for the administrative department, the ruling again shows that activist judges do not have jurisdiction to seize control of the president’s authority to implement foreign policy.”
