A new Canelo? Jose Benavides Sr. says his son David will mercilessly pursue Dmitry Bibolu’s title after WBC vacant seats
Trainer Jose Benavides Sr. says he believes Dmitry Biboll chose to avoid his son David Benavides. That’s why he didn’t protect him, he left the WBC Light Heavyweight title.
He believes Bivol (24-1, 12 KOS) wants to keep the remaining three titles as much as possible to keep marketable. However, Jose Sr. says Benavides (30-0, 24 Kos) will take them one by one from Bivol until he leaves.
“Device the fight”
Benavidez has been promoted to the new WBC 175 pound champion. He also holds the WBA’s “regular” belt, but Bivol has a super title for that organization. Jose Sr. says Benavidez will force Vibor to defend his WBA title against him.
Bivol will face the next trilogy match against Artur Beterbiev. So there’s a chance he’ll lose to Betterviev. If that happens, the responsibility to fight Benavides falls on Artur’s shoulders.
“I think He was avoiding the fight. He knows that the battle with David Benavides is a tough battle and a very dangerous one,” said Jose Benavides Sr. Fighting Hub TV When asked if he thought Dmitry Bivol had chosen to avoid David Benavidez.
Bivol promoter Eddie Hearn says he didn’t avoid Benavides. According to him, Bivol surrendered the WBC belt. Because he had signed a contract to fight Beterbiev in the trilogy and he had given him his words to play that match. He also said the money is better for the Beterbiev fight than the Benavidez match where Bivol paid $8 million.
“Today, all these fighters, they want to make money,” Jose Sr. said.Remove one belt, And we can hold three belts. ”
If that’s what Bivol was thinking when he abandoned the WBC title, he doesn’t know Benavidez very well. Dmitry will become Benavidez’s new Canelo, and he intends to cover him non-stop for a fight. He forces Bibolu to give up all the titles until he becomes just a beltless candidate.
Are you going to escape?
“We’re coming for the WBA too, so little by little he’ll be stripped and he’ll have to give all the belts,” said Jose Sr. about Biboru having to give up one by one after Benavides chased them. “A little by little, we’re going to take them away.
“A 175 year old. We want those belts. We already got it. It was very hard to get it, but now we want something else. David is the regular WBA champion (regular). Bibolu is a super champion.
