A shameful WBO title defense against Brian Norman Jr.’s unfit Jin Sasaki
WBO welterweight champion Brian Norman Jr. is posing on Thursday, June 19th at Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan, with Threat #2 ranked Jinsaki posing in the 12th round headliner.

Norman Jr. (27-0, 21 Kos) studies Sasaki (19-1-1, 17 Kos)’s “habits” and says there is nothing that can surprise him in this fight. As Sasaki, 23, is a more beginner than a true candidate, it’s no surprise that Norman Jr. is very confident.
Sasaki: A worthless opponent
The world’s boxing organizations won him second place, but his entire resume is full of low-level fighters. Sasaki should not really be near the top tier or near the top 50. His resume is horrible.
Norman Junior vs Sasaki event streaming I live in ESPN+ Thursday, June 19th, 7:15am ET/4:15pm PT. It will be interesting to learn that the top rank Norman promoter is thinking about his choice against Sasaki.
They can’t be too happy about this fight. Because it’s an ambiguous fighter, and the time of the event means that many fans won’t see it. That’s a waste for Norman JR’s career and top rank, as his popularity does not grow from this fight. Can’t see it. Sasaki would be a good opponent for one of the 147 low-ranked candidates, like Karen Chukazian.
He doesn’t think he will maintain his chance against Chukhazian, but that’s the type of fighter he should face in order to try to get his stripes.
Why fans ignore Norman Sasaki
This is a battle that would be overlooked, even if it was shown in a regular time slot on a Saturday night. Fans aren’t talking about this fight as IIT is not attractive. That’s a mismatch.
Top Rank must lead Norman Junior against prominent fighters of the future. That way he can create his own name and protect things like Sasaki again.
“I know Sasaki’s habits, techniques, and anything he wants to do,” Norman said. “There’s nothing I can do to surprise me other than growing my third arm. I hope he will fight harder than before due to the size of this fight, but the end result is still the same.
Sasaki’s last six opponents

We will squeeze out the WBO welterweight title
Of those fighters, who was enough for WBO to rank Sasaki #2? That’s what I want to know. As far as I know, the lowest 100-level welterweight of those. It’s okay for Sasaki to beat them, but how does this translate into the high rankings he was given?
Norman Jr. appears to be his intention to milk his WBO titles as much as possible. It’s the wrong kind of champion. If he is going to fight someone like Sasaki, one of the talented 140-pound candidates will have to travel to 147 and abdicate him to Pronto.
