Abdullah Mason focused on James, but the champion is in his heart

Abdullah Mason feels ready to compete against one of the lightweight division champions for the world title. Mason (16-0, 14 Kos) is playing Manuel Gimes (16-2-1, 11 Kos) in an eight-round match on Friday, February 14th at Madison Square Garden Theatre in New York.

Mason’s Ambition

Mason, 20, has the chance to stage the main events of WBO Lightweight Champions Dennis Verincick and Keyshawn Davis. If he can do that, Keyshawn appears at the event on Friday, gets top ranked by talking about garbage and hopes he will become the next big star. That’s impressive.
