Abdullah Mason Vs. Giovanni Cabrera: April 5th

April showdown
Thaboxingvoice reports that the 20-year-old lightweight Mason will face Cabrera (22-2, 7 KOs) two months from now. This will be Cabrera’s first fight since being knocked out in the seventh round by William Zepeda in Ontario, California on July 6th last year.
Abdullah looked impressive last Friday, stealing the show from the Belinchik main event between Keyshawn Davis and Denick. Mason dropped Gimes four times in the fight.
This fight shows whether Mason can deal with a crafty boxer who isn’t there like most of the other 17 opponents he has faced in his four-year career.
Mason says he wants to fight for the world title against one of the 135 four champions and will not avoid fighting one of them if he is friendly. Masu. Keyshaun and his friend WBC Lightweight Champion Shakur Stephenson have been criticized in boxing for their decision not to fight each other. They don’t want to ruin their friendship.
“It feels good. I broke him and kicked him out of there. Four knockdowns in the four rounds. He went far with Rory, but I put him out of there,” Abdullah said. Mason said fighthypetalking about his victory over Manuel Gimes last Friday night.
“We got away from that fight, came into this fight, and we didn’t switch things too much. We just kept doing what we did and kicked him out of there,” Mason said. I did. “We currently have four active world champions, two of which I rank in the top 15.
“I’ve heard 10 on WBC and 133 on WBO. I’m happy to have the opportunity to compete for it, whatever title I’m. The only thing I’ll never fight is my blood brother,” Abdullah. -Mason said when he told him if there was someone who was lightweight and not fighting.
