According to trainer Bosey Ennis, Andy Cruz’s knockout power and technical skill make him a “nightmare” for Shakur Stephenson

Andycruz trainer Derek “Bosey” Ennis believes he has a product to beat WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stephenson. He thinks that fight “technical” For one thing, he feels that the 2020 Cuban Olympic medalist has the power to set him apart from Stephenson.

Ennis supports Andy Cruz

Cruz (6-0, 3 Kos) exhibited some of his strengths in the fifth knockout of Hironori Mishiro on June 14th at IBF lightweight title Eliminator. He dropped Mishiro twice with a big shot in the third round, and was on the crisis that came down for the fifth time when the referee stopped the contest.

Shakur is a good fighter, but he can’t break the egg and will be overwhelmed by Cruz’s attack. The tendency to move nonstop when under aggressive restrictions and pressure prevents Stephenson from defeating Andycruz’s class of fighters.

Hearn protects Shakur Stephenson

It’s doubtful that he will fight Andy Cruz as Shakur promoter Eddie Hahn is focusing on him in a mega money unification fight with Jevonta Davis. Hahn put him alongside 2020 Olympic gold medalist Cruise and didn’t sign Shakur just to see him exposed to unilateral losses.

The way that Hahn earns the money he paid to sign Shakur is to keep winning long enough for him to play the Tank Davis fight. So that’s why Stephenson coincided with Josh Padley last February. That’s why he keeps winning. It’s pathetic, but it’s business.

“It’s going to be a tremendous battle, he and Shakur. Yes, certainly.” YSM Sports Media About the battle between Andy Cruz and Shakur Stephenson. “I was able to go with the guy (Cruz) and that’s technical,” Bosey said when asked what kind of fight there was between Cruz and Shakur.

Cruz = Shakur’s aggressive nightmare

Andy Cruz will be a nightmare for Shakur due to his hand speed, precision punches and excellent offensive skills. Cruz’s output is better than Shakur’s output, and his power is far superior to Shakur’s power. We’ve seen Stevenon’s limits when he fought Edwin de los Santos and Jeremiah Nakatiglia. He is forced to run with a powerful fighter jet, and has no ability to stand on his own ground like Cruz.

“Both are smart, keen, they know what they’re doing. They don’t waste shots when you see it. One thing about Andy is that he listens to you and he does.

Andy’s ability to listen and follow Bozy’s instructions like a machine makes him very dangerous. If Bozy tells Cruz to chase after Shakur, he will follow the order and probably knock him out. Because of Stevenson’s lack of attack, it would be a one-sided battle.

If he could implant strength into Shakur’s body in Gervonta Davis, he would have a chance to defeat Andy Cruz. But like he is now, he will become bait for Andy and be embarrassed.

Andy’s Skills: Speed, Accuracy

“After a round of one, two or three he gets better and better. He gets higher and higher. That’s when he starts picking it up. I think that’s how accurate he is. He throws those punches. He’s accurate.

Cruz defeated Miyano Hironori at IBF Lightweight Title Eliminator on June 14th to become the mandatory challenger for champion Raymond Muratara. The battle between Andy and Muratara could take place later this year or 2026. It depends on IBF and top rank.

The top-ranked Muratara promoter is thought to delay Cruz’s fight as much as possible as he is likely to lose. You can’t blame them. Muratara is a good fighter, but it is one-dimensional and overmatches against Cruz, like Shakur.
