Americans spending a lot of fireworks before July 4th

Americans look forward to celebrating July 4th Every year. Cooking, parades and gatherings are common, as they attend fireworks shows. Some people are doing their own shows by purchasing consumer fireworks.
According to members of the fireworks industry, American consumers bought fireworks before July 4th, spending a significant amount of money.

Phantom Fireworks CEO Bruce Zoldan said Fox Business On Wednesday, the company’s brick and mortar sales reached “nearly $400 this year.”

At Phantom Fireworks, the large 500 gram repeater appears to be “increasing demand” among consumers, but Zoldan said, pointed out that the company doesn’t have all the data for that year.
According to the CEO of Phantom Fireworks, Americans are “still buying regular Roman candles and parachutes and other favorites from July 4th, but are beginning to move in the 500 gram direction.”
Zordan also said people like to buy assortments that include a variety of different fireworks.
The Phantom’s assortment is as low as $99 and could rise to $1,500, he said.
The company sells lighted items and pet safety-related products for children “have nothing to do with fuses or fireworks powder,” and according to Zoldan, Phantom Fireworks “sees a lot of activity with this year’s type of item.”
Steve Houser, president of Red Rhino Fireworks and former president of the National Fireworks Association, similarly told Fox Business that retail fireworks sales are strong.

“I’m an importer, distributor and wholesaler, so I import fireworks and then sell them to the general public and retailers from multiple warehouse locations across the country,” he explained. “What I’ve seen this year and what I’m seeing now is that sales on the retail side are very strong.”
Houser said he’s brought many customers back to him to buy more fireworks with what he calls a “comeback order.”
“We’re doing CPUs all day from 8am to 5am or 6am. Most of the customers I’m watching are all coming back and laughing, so sales sound very strong,” he told Fox Business.
He linked it on Friday to July 4th, like Zordan.

“The other thing is that retailers open this year are seeing the benefits of sales, probably based on my experience, as fewer retailers actually do than they say last year,” Houser says.
