As Nottingham Forest pushes Champions League push, Nuno Espirito Santo Santo 5 Finals are ready
Nottingham Forest Manager Nuno Espirito Santo described the Premier League season’s closure stretch as defining his team’s career, with the club pushing to secure an unprecedented spot in the Champions League next season.
Currently sitting sixth, Forest stays firmly in the mix for a top-5 finish, with the latter enough to compete next season.
With positive results in upcoming matches against Brentford at City Ground on Thursday, they lifted them into one of their qualifying spots, with only four games left.
“Every game is the biggest game of our careers, and this is how we approach it,” Nuno said.
“Every game will be very important for many teams in this fight. There’s one more thing. Let’s go well.
“We are back in the city grounds before our fans, which is a huge help.

“We never stopped believing what happened. Through the competition, we were able to spend good and bad moments and react. It’s up to us to react again.”
A club with many European history, including two European Cup victories, Forest has not appeared in the continent’s top competitions since the 1980-81 season.
After being knocked out of the FA Cup in the semi-final stage by Manchester City, their focus is fully focused on the league’s run-in.
Despite the pressure, Nuno claims that his team starts with Brentford and is focused on one game at a time.
“We’re just thinking about Brentford now. That’s the only thing we need to consider in our minds now, and we’re going to compete with them,” he said.
“It’s in our hands, that’s a huge advantage.”
