As of 4, a former Texas deputy from the same sheriff’s office dies after a few weeks of suicide.
Four current and former agents from the same Texas Sheriff’s Office Officials say he died of obvious suicide over the course of six weeks.
All Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies died between February 6th and March 19th.
In the first case, retired Deputy Long Nuguen died of apparent suicide on February 6th, ABC 13 quoted officials.
Deputy Christina Kohler, who had been missing for more than a week, was found to have died on March 13th by an obvious suicide.

Three days later, the former Maria Vazquez’s deputy station was discovered. A Houston medical inspector ruled that Vasquez, who retired from the agency in December, died of an obvious suicide.
On March 19, retired Deputy William Boseman also died of apparent suicide 24 years later. Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez lamented the reported suicide of deputies.

“Today, we learn that a Harris County Sheriff’s Office retired died of obvious suicide. This will be three for us within a week,” Gonzalez wrote on Facebook.
“Our hearts are heavy. We express deep sadness to our families, colleagues and friends. It is a reminder of how vulnerable and time is not guaranteed,” he continued.
President Jose Lopez, a Harris County Councillors organization, said the death of the lawmaker “surprised many of us.”

“One is too much. 2? 3? Yes, that’s definitely devastating,” Lopez said.
“It hits close to home. It reminds us of a vulnerable life for us, and we also remind us of each other that we need to be careful of each other. We need to take care of each other,” added Lopez.
The sheriff’s office has been launched Mental health Initiatives to address recent trends. Lopez said he was helping his fellow deputies handle the grief.
