As the death toll reaches 43, major donations will be poured into Texas’ flood relief

Various groups and celebrities have made donations to charities in the area as authorities and volunteers continue to search and support victims of the devastating flood that swept parts of Texas.
Saturday, Shakira Colombian singer-Songwriter has announced that it will support families affected by the Texas Hill Country floods with a portion of the proceeds from its July 5th concert in San Antonio.
“Dear San Antonio, our hearts and prayers are with those affected by the floods in central Texas,” the singer wrote to X:
The United Services Motorcycle Association, renowned as the USAA, has committed $500,000 in charity grants to support search and recovery efforts, and will stimulate employee volunteers to serve the community.

“The destruction and loss we see in Texas is heartbreaking, and our thoughts and prayers are especially with the families of those who have lost loved ones and those still waiting to hear the news,” USAA president and CEO Juan Andrade said in a statement. “We are part of this community and for over 100 years, we are evident in our action, compassion and willingness to help our neighbors and members recover and rebuild. We are grateful to our first responders for our continued and tireless efforts.”

“We are heartbroken by the losses and damages our Texas Hill Country neighbours endure. We hope we hear about the children who are still missing and reunite with our families soon,” a statement from the franchise’s chief owner, Janice, Hannah and Karmacnair, said in a statement. “Our mind will remain for all affected individuals and continue to support search, rescue and recovery efforts in the coming weeks, in addition to donations.”
Texas Search and Rescue, a nonprofit first responder group, offers search, rescue and recovery operations Kerr County, This was greatly affected by the flood.
The Salvation Army in Carville, Texas, has limited donations and is designated as the official partner for volunteer coordination and in-kind donations.

The Community Foundation, a nonprofit in the area, has launched the Carr County Flood Relief Fund. All donations will be sent to the supporting organizations Emergency.
At least 43 people died Saturday evening, and more than 27 young girls from Camp Mystic remained missing as search and rescue operations continue.
